Yoga Class

At Our Gym Nelson Bay, we look forward to opportunities where we can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find ways to listen to, and reset our bodies and our minds. In this workshop, you will strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm, centred and happy. A great way to start your Sunday!

Breakthrough Toolkit for Continuous Calm

Have ever wondered how to have the inner calm and resilience to get through each day feeling as though you can do it all again tomorrow? Then come to this 30 minute workshop! Stress can be helpful, or it can be damaging. We often wear stress as a badge of honour, but what is it really doing to your wellbeing? Your relationships? Your work life? And to your longevity? Imagine being able to flip stress into courage, calm or what ever it is you need. In this workshop we will look at several ways to reduce those damaging effects on the physical, biochemical and emotional levels, so that you can be well and good to shine on!

Spinal stretch exercise class

Our Spinal Exercise/Stretch Class will give you 8 simple stretches, with minimal equipment needed, to strengthen the spines supporting muscles. These exercises will help prevent straining of the soft tissue (ligaments, tendons and muscles) supporting the spine, which may lead to an ease in back discomfort and better movement of the neck and back.

Confident is what most people aspire to be in one way or another.  It is easy for some people yet others struggle at the simplest of things.  Confidence is not something you are born with any more than you are born with courage, fear or certainty, it's something you create within you.  So, how do you do that?  Let's explore that together in this fun workshop.

Mindful movement is a Pilates-inspired movement session utilising body-weight resistance with a focus on control and connection. Intensity is able to modified simply, according to the needs of each participant, and incorporates a focus on present moment awareness.

Holistic Approaches to Health & Nutrition

Sheryl Hockey - Holistic Herbalist and Iridologist


This holistic health workshop will use your Iridology (the study of your iris) to highlight three tips to take your individual health journey to the next level. It will be an interactive and fun workshop session to give you some tools to apply straight away to help you achieve your health goals.

We all have a mind of our own, or do we?  A question as old as the hills, and if it is true, how different our life would be.  If you wish to create something different, you need to be- come different. This workshop will give a snapshot of how we create our reality - quality of life; our health, wealth and relationships; experiences etc. from our beliefs.  From there explore how knowing yourself more, creates choice and freedom.

Meditation and Energy Workshop

Melinda Kalac – Pranic Healing Hunter

Learn the basic elements of Meditation and Energy and how to incorporate these into your life for better health and wellbeing. This will be an informative, interactive, and inspiring session; a beautiful and relaxing way to end the day.

Sound Bowl Meditation 

Penny-maree – Reiki Sanctuary

We invite you to enjoy the relaxing healing sound bath facilitated by Penny-maree of Reiki Sanctuary. The focus is on cleansing and balancing the 7 main Chakras. Penny-maree uses Quartz crystal bowls, light language & toning.
